The S'Move Program for Leadership, Mentorship, and Character Development
S’MOVE – (Superheroes on the Move) is the leadership, mentorship, and character development program facilitated by The Okinawan Karate Dojo (OKD) in partnership with MindzEye, Inc. Since 2014, the S’MOVE program has received rave reviews and reaches thousands of youth annually!
Since 1998, Sensei Stanley Crump (Owner, 7th Degree Black Belt and Superhero Trainer) of the Okinawan Karate Dojo has been leading a team of dedicated instructors/mentors to improve communities throughout Maryland and beyond. His mission with every student interaction is to ignite a passion that will inspire them to become the best versions of themselves and empower them to build competitive edge through personal accountability. When “Testimony" and Sensei realized that their missions were aligned, it made sense for OKD and MindzEye to join forces!
Since partnering with Sensei Stan and the S'Move, “Testimony" has become an integral part of the program's impact. While Sensei Stan equips participants with practical tools for self-discipline, emotional awareness, and personal accountability, “Testimony" brings those lessons to life through sharing his personal, real-life experience, spoken word, authentic storytelling, music, and faith-centered encouragement.
Their unique chemistry creates an experience that reaches both the mind and the heart—Sensei Stan teaches the principles and “Testimony" helps participants feel them.
Together, they create an impactful environment where people don't just hear messages of hope and change—they see them modeled through vulnerability, authenticity, and mutual respect. As a result, The S'Move programming has evolved from an outstanding leadership and life-skills experience into a deeply transformational journey that inspires lasting personal growth. As Sensei Stan often says, "Talk to yourself, and listen to your body.” “Testimony” delivers the "The Sticky Notes Project" as a means for participants to discover those life-giving one-liners ——the words they need to speak to themselves that become the catalyst for healing, purpose, and lasting change.
S'Move piviots around a structured, needs-based curriculum for targeted audiences, and addresses the pressing needs of improved physical fitness, mental awareness, and emotional wellness in today's youth. S'Move's mission is also aligned with the priorities of local and state school systems to foster community engagement, educational achievement, and overall well-being.
